Even the way we view a web page is changing when now in more updated browsers you do not have to load 4 different plug-in just for one video to work.
Another way the web is effecting is jobs in the world. Many business have their own web page now a days and it helps and can make or break a company because of feedback both positive and negative.
Also that we need to change the way we teach our students even if they are ahead of the teacher so they can use the web to benefit them then just to play around and connect with others.
One way is teaching the student the correct way to blog and let the blog be their portfolio for school. With the blog they can receive feedback and learn how to accept it and think more critical in the world. The teachers can do this by guiding, "students in using the new tools for academically rigorous investigations and presentations." ( Solomon and Schrum, 21st Century Skills, para. 71) With this teaching method they can teach for a world that is becoming and not the past.
